The breakfast of our place was generous for the quality, enjoyed it. The booked room was charming old and brand-new in bed linen. This hotel was located in a central area so close to river and shops, restaurants and bars, and restaurant: D

Interesting and fairly clean hotel with welcoming staff and particularly nice views across to the Malvern hills. Marvellous location near to shops and restaurants. Next to the canal and the town centre as well as the pub.

Marvellous location in Tewkesbury, really close to river, the centre and the restaurant both for dinner. Plenty of different food.

On arrival we were advised the double bedded room we had booked was not available and we were offered a twin room as the only option. The hotel receptionist claimed unsuccessful efforts had been made to advise us of the situation before our arrival.

The room was very good - excellent bathroom - v quirky slant to the room which we liked.
We wanted to eat there but there were 2 people drinking at the bar and absolutely no diners, therefore no atmosphere and obviously not popular.

The check-in and check-out processes were smooth. the superior double room had a modern interior design. the continental breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options. the hotel's location was convenient for all the activities I had planned, being close to the beer garden, canal and river, as well as pubs, shops.

location
Disappointed with tiny room. Only room for one bedside table so nothing to put lamp, drinks on. Tiny wardrobe. Noisey, next to kitchen extractor fan. Room was very dark - had to keep light on so no privacy with people walking by from car park. Was in room 41. Previous visit had a very large bedroom and excellent facilities. Sunday breakfast room was inadequate for number of guests. No room for us. Had to wait 10 mins for a table to be set in another room. No table cloth. Had to ask for napkins, then for side plates, no salt and pepper. Had to ask twice for a cup of tea. Very limited car park facilities - had to park in street for one night. Shame - more like a bed and breakfast than a hotel. Had a drink in bar one evening and asked for crisps. Just served in their packets. Very dark, dull bar.
